In conjunction with our contribution, clients typically achieve not only a
productivity gain of at least 20%, but also realize the benefit of an historically
tested
method of approaching ongoing process review and improvement.   We
actively share our techniques with middle and junior management and
commit to transference of the skills involved.

We successfully meld an approach to streamlining processes and structures
with a focus on the service aspects of the business.   One of our precepts is
that cost control and service provision are not conflicting values but two sides
of the same "coin".   Both values benefit through better processes, a leaner
organization, appropriate and
utilized MIS and best use of technology.

Our method calls for in-depth understanding of your ways of doing your
business.  We come equipped with a deep understanding of Banking and
Card operations and learn your specific activities very quickly.

Our emphasis on improvement of the
detailed day-to-day activities within our
client's business makes us unique.   We are different from other consulting
organizations in the retention of this specialized focus.   We further believe we
are different in that, as a small organization, we are sensitive to our own
vulnerability if a client is not fully satisfied with our service.   This creates an
intensity and absolute commitment to results beyond any of our competitors'
capabilities.

We differ, as well, in the following ways:

  • Project output content is designed for the junior managers and
individual contributors who are responsible for the actual work.  We
don't deliver mushy generalities or "high level" views of the business.
These too often sit on shelves without being implemented.

  • Professional senior business people do the consulting work.   The
same people who will discuss with you the goals of the project will
also perform the project activities.  No “junior associates” are assigned
to learn the business at your expense.

  • We use a group of basic, universally accepted business principles in
our consulting philosophy.  We do not simply replicate preconceptions
that may have worked in another environment for a different set of
reasons.   Each project is a new review with a fresh approach toward
    improvement specifically for your business.

  • We commit to a quick impact as a result of our participation.    We earn
our fee by seeing to it that the client achieves benefits early on in the
    project life cycle.

  • We want to stay with the project until the benefits are achieved.   Our
participation and revisit schedule assures that we are available to
continue assistance until the goals of the project are fully realized
    within reasonable cost considerations.

  • All tasks are performed at your location(s).  Your designated staff
participates in all phases and learns the how, what and why of our
methods.  We don't develop project documents in private and arrive
    with unanticipated surprises.

Each project has clearly identified stages of activities:

  • Data Gathering.  Through interviews, observations and documentation
review, I learn how you do things, your issues and future plans.

  • Analysis.  The data obtained is studied and rationalized for best
    possible improvement in your environment.

  • Initial Design.  Process, structure and all areas under consideration
have summary recommendations developed.  Discussions held with
senior management.  Basic agreement on content established.

  • Final Design.  Developing detail and all necessary support for the
hundreds of recommendations created.  Presented to and discussed
with all affected managers and staff.

  • Implementation.  Implementation plans developed for all areas as a
result of acceptance of final design recommendations.  Revisit
schedule established for project progress monitoring.

Special
training is typically included in the projects.  A standard "Managing
Change" Program helps all staff understand the dynamics of change in
their
business.

It is also helpful to include the organization specific content of one or more of
our existing courses.
